I don’t always say the right thing, I don’t always do the right thing. Sometimes life sucks, but I love life and I love people. I try to see the good even though sometimes it is clouded by the bad. Often times I don’t understand, but I try not to judge or jump to conclusions. I try not to be disappointed when people let me down. I try not to fly off the handle when I’m upset. That action usually comes back to haunt me. The truth is, we all mess up, we all hurt, we all are in need of that touch, that hug, that reassurance that everything is going to be ok. As much as we try to be there for each other, no one can promise true loyalty but God. He is always there, and He really can make it alright. We are human ~ humans make mistakes. God is our eraser. He forgives and erases, and He never remembers it again. No matter how many times I fall, when I go to Him, His love for me is consistent. He is the God of do-overs. He gives second, third, fourth…. chances. So, be encouraged, don’t fear, God is here and He’s not going anywhere. You may not be able to depend on me, but you can always depend on God.
